The basket in the back of the seat has a spring loaded mechanism, so you can push the basket down to put a backpack or diaper bag and then it will open up to secure the contents. It also comes with a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable back pad that reclines and a reclining seat back pad, which offer more options than what you usually get on a stroller that is light. It also has a canopy that you can open and shut to ensure that you get the sun protection level you want. The handlebars are height-adjustable for a comfortable fit in four different positions. However, we weren't impressed with the quality of its ride over rough terrain. We felt the suspension and wheels didn't do a very good job of absorbing shocks and bumps. It's a perfect stroller for traveling because it comes in a box that is fully assembled and requires only a few steps to get it set to use. The seat can be pushed back and forward to adjust the recline. It's quite flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. However the handle is a bit lower than many of the other strollers we tested and some parents might feel uncomfortable for extended periods of time. It does have the ability to lock the handle to keep it in place while open, though. This is an excellent feature if you intend to use the stroller on uneven or rough terrain. 3. Munchkin Sparrow The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate stroller for parents on the go. The compact stroller folds down and up easily and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of planes or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking charges). It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and provides good sun protection thanks to its canopy. The only downside for some parents is that they find the look cheap and utilitarian. The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight single strollers. It was designed specifically to be a luxury urban stroller and for travel. It's one of the most easy strollers to fold, and comes with a handy carry case. It has plenty of storage space and a cup holder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller that can be used with a newborn with the car seat adapter. The handlebar cannot be adjusted, and may be a problem for some parents who are short. The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, but it has a lot of amazing features that assist parents in traveling with their children. Its spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make those naps on the plane last longer. The canopy that extends can provide excellent sun protection, and the tray has plenty of storage. It also features a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. The footrest, however, seems vulnerable to damage from baggage handlers. 4. Uppababy Mini V2 Uppababy's Minu V2 is a high-end stroller that doesn't skimp on design or quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, but its robust construction ensures it can handle rough terrain without compromising your child's comfort. The spring-action suspension at the front and rear makes for an even more comfortable ride and the durable materials ensure it can withstand everyday wear and tear. Plus, it can be expanded to accommodate additional accessories like baby car seat. Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was very easy to fold and maneuver. Its squat, almost square fold, which unfolds into thirds, is one of the easiest in our tests and allows it to be tucked away in overhead compartments of planes and public transport. It has a single-action color-coded brake that is easy to use. The seat comes with a multi-position recline as well as a one-handed adjustable leg rest, so it's easy to find the perfect position for your child. The UPF 50+ canopy is lowered quite a ways to shield Cora's face from sun. There is also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window that closes magnetically and adheres to the canopy, rather than using noisy Velcro. At less than 15 pounds At just under 15 pounds, the Minu is easy to carry thanks to its built-in handle and shoulder strap. It can also be stored in the trunk of your vehicle, and it comes with a storage bag and access to the TravelSafe program offered by Uppababy, which adds two years onto the manufacturer's warranty and provides replacements for any items damaged during air travel. 5. Joovy Aire Joovy is a well-known brand that produces several strollers. This lightweight model is a great choice for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, provides ample storage space, is relatively easy to move around and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. It's not the ideal choice if you want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller. It doesn't accept any infant car seats, and your babies will need to be able to sit up independently before they can use the stroller from day one. This stroller has some solid features, and it comes with a hefty price. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other strollers with similar specifications. It's an excellent choice for smooth surfaces. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage including a spacious parent tray. The front wheel suspension is a little stiff and the handlebar is smaller in diameter than normal, however it still provides a comfortable ride for adults. If you have twins, or two children of different in age, you might consider a side-by-side stroller is the best way to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which comes with a wide range of features and a small footprint that can fit in places that other side-by-side options can't. It comes with reclining seats, a large canopy with an open window, and plenty of storage.
